How Is It?

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect--Matthew 24:24

Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness--II Thessalonians 2:9-12

We don't remark upon these two scriptures (of which there are many more similar) to shout the end is near!  Self-proclaimed prophets of the Judeo-Christian tradition have been predicting the end for over 200 years.  It's a prophetable business, even though their track record shows only one embarrassing failure after another.

Indeed, the great Catholic French poet Arthur Rimbaud issued a more accurate vision of the end in his Illumination IV:

The paths are rough. The hillocks are covered with broom. The air is motionless. How far away are the birds and the springs! It can only be the end of the world ahead.

No, I don't remark upon these scriptures in attempt to reveal the future.  But something has greatly troubled my spirit the last many months.  

How is it?

How is it possible for so many millions of self-proclaimed Christians in America, England and Australia** to support Israel's rampage of Satanic violence against Palestinians, of whom thousands are also self-proclaimed Christians, and therefore could be brethren?  And not only support Israel, but take pleasure in the carnage?  And even if none of the Palestinians were Christians, how would any person claiming the faith of Christ justify reveling in human slaughter? 

Is it really necessary to provide some scripture to suggest that the Spirit of Christ would be grieved by such enthusiasm for the rape, torture and murder of tens of thousands?

But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law--Galatians 5:223-23

Of course, I am not the one to judge who belongs to Christ.  I can't testify even for my own self.  But I wonder, when there are scriptures that suggest those who truly have the faith of Christ could not be so deceived, so bewitched, how a follower of Christ could accept and bless the Judeo-Christian Zionist genocide against the Palestinians?

How is it that a soul supposedly born from above, a soul indwelled with the spirit of Christ, can be so deceived, can believe such a lie that Almighty God wants every Palestinian annihilated?

LOL!  This isn't even a sin of the flesh!  These spiritual freaks don't even have to say 'no' to themselves!  It's not as if they are that poor soul tortured in the flesh who lusts after his neighbor's wife or daughter and struggles to say 'no,' to deny his own lust.  No, these people cannot even deny Israel's blood-lust!  How is it??

It is not unreasonable to doubt the faith of self-proclaimed Christians who unequivocally and enthusiastically support the Israeli death campaign in Palestine.

These bizarre *Christians* no doubt believe Palestinians are devils, but there may come a day of great regret:

Not every one that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name? and in Thy name have cast out devils? and in Thy name done many wonderful works?
