What is this fucking place? You’ll never get me to believe we’re here by accident. This was created out of some Imagination or whatever you want to call God.
We are subject to forces we don’t understand. We’re not in control of anything. We know we are going to die. That's it. How long have people been around, and nobody knows what’s on the other side. Anything? Nothing?
I listen to Jesus because He came back from the other side. Most people don’t believe that, but the most logical explanation for the eyewitness testimony of Jesus' resurrection is that it's simply the truth. Any other explanation requires an unbelievable torturing of logic. But anyway, that’s not what this is about.
Everything is explained in the book of Ecclesiastes, anyway. Nothing has happened in the 2500 years of human history since it was written that would force the author to revise his position. It was the first and remains the best existential text written, exploring the meaning of life (or lack of meaning), and highlighting life's fleeting nature and the futility of worldly pursuits. The author concludes our purpose here is to find God and try to figure out what He would want us to do.
Sounds simple, until you’re in the middle of all this shit, subject to forces natural and supernatural.
I would guess most people in the world are sick and tired.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
