Yellow Flag Flies Over Jamarkaran Mosque

CNN, 8 January 2020: There is a growing belief among some Trump administration officials that Iran's missiles intentionally missed areas populated by Americans when they targeted two Iraqi bases housing US troops early Wednesday local time, multiple administration officials said. Iran fired a number of missiles aimed at the bases in retaliation for the American strike that killed Iranian general Qassem Soleimani last week, further escalating tensions between the two countries. Officials have said there were no US casualties as a result of the attacks. The administration officials floated the notion that Iran could have directed their missiles to hit areas that are populated by Americans, but intentionally did not. And they suggested Iran may have chosen to send a message rather than take significant enough action to provoke a substantial US military response.

OK. After all the tears and the anguished cries for revenge, after all the monumental pomp and circumstance—the red flag over the mosque in Qom, the million men funeral tours—this is Iran's promised fierce revenge:

Iran's missiles intentionally missed areas populated by Americans.

America assassinates Iran's Hero General. . .and some Iraqi airbase runway is blown up? Not exactly the *historic nightmare* the Iranian leadership pledged.

Yup, color me stupefied and wholly unimpressed with Iranian *vengeance.* And while we are at it, let's also color that flag over the Jamarkaran mosque yellow, for most assuredly Iran lacked the courage to spill the blood of The Great Satan.

Let's be brutally honest about what Iran's woeful and intentionally misguided *attack* means: Iran remains submissive to the Great Satan, and chooses to remain in American chains, eating a daily dose of sanctions and humiliations.

We wish we could ask Ayatollah Khamenei, the spiritual leader and defacto mosque boss of Iran, how can he go to Allah and offer property damage at an Iraqi air base as recompense for the Great Satan's sacrifice of Soleimani?

And perhaps Allah already told him he can't, in the form of two earthquakes and one plane crash after Iran's pitiful miss-the-mark missile attack.

[And maybe we shouldn't blame Allah for the plane crash. Considering Iran's refusal to hand over the plane's black box to aviation investigators, it could very well be the jetliner was shot down by Iran's nervous and inept air defenses.  Can you imagine proud-but-yellow-bellied Iran allowing the recording of the distressed pilot to be heard: these fucking towelheads are shooting at us!  And we also note the following symbolism: the airliner was from the Ukraine!  Impeachment Ukraine!  It's as if Trump bought down two birds with one stone.]

One can only imagine the bitter, bitter disappointment of Zeinab Soleimani, daughter of the assassinated General.  The Ayatollah looked her in her teary eyes and promised her father's murder would be avenged.  Hard to imagine a couple potholes on a runway in an Iraqi airbase bringing her any solace.

And let's not fail to mention perhaps the greatest indignity of the entire l'affaire Soleimani:

A stampede erupted on Tuesday at a funeral procession for the Iranian general killed in a US air strike last week, killing at least 56 people and injuring 48 others. According to a report on state television, the stampede took place in Kerman, the home town of Revolutionary Guard Gen. Qassem Soleimani, as the procession got underway. Initial videos posted online showed people lying lifeless on a road, others shouting and trying to help them.

Hard to imagine a worse or more embarrassing few days for Iran.  After all the Grand Promises and the Majestic Dog and Pony Shows, followed by the funeral stampede, the cowardly military response and the possibly inept, frightened reactions actions of the Iranian air defenses, we are left with one absolute certainty:

Major General Qassem Soleimani is rolling over in his grave.

Some Iran apologists are desperately trying to spin the shamefully underwhelming and incompetent Iranian response as a *victory* for the Islamic Republic.  Only those literally born yesterday, after the furious Iranian pledge of revenge, could believe it.

Will Kill Muslims For Food

7 January 2020: If you’re happy about the U.S.’s killing of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, President Trump’s reelection campaign has a suggestion for how to show it: with a $100 donation to the Trump Make America Great Again Committee, the joint fundraising arm of the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee.

The American democratic process: funded by assassination!

Well, I can find something even more nauseating.  Romans 10:9-10 has been replaced by this:

TV evangelist Jim Bakker says President Donald Trump is a test of faith and that Christians can pass by loving him.  “You know what? Trump is a test whether you’re even saved,” he said in a clip going viral on Twitter. “Only saved people can love Trump.”

Bakker continues to give Christians (and cocksuckers) a bad name. . .

I'll See Your 52 Targets, And Raise You 124,000

Image result for poker chips
If there is anything amusing about l'affaire Soleimani, it is the bluster from both sides over the number of targets they vow to hit. After Soleimani was assassinated, Iranian General Gholamali Abuhamzeh, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards in the southern province of Kerman declared:

The Strait of Hormuz is a vital point for the West and a large number of American destroyers and warships cross there, some 35 US targets in the region as well as Tel Aviv are within our reach.

That one must have gotten under the flabby skin of Donald J. Trump, because he quickly abandoned his meatloaf and ice cream and furiously tweeted:

We have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level and important to Iran and the Iranian culture.  If Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets... Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD.

Well, the Chairman of Iran's Parliament obviously could not let this blow to his nation's honor stand, so he upped the ante BIG TIME:

If they want to hit 52 sites of ours, we will hit a number of US targets that will be as many as the number of the verses (6,236) of the Holy Quran, and we will target 124,000 of them that stands equal to the number of 124,000 prophets.

So far Trump has not yet further raised the stakes, perhaps he is still trying to determine if there even are 124,001 targets in Iran. . .

Democracy In Action!

5 January 2020: Iraq’s parliament voted on Sunday to expel U.S. troops from the country, in an extraordinarily rapid and decisive response to the Trump administration’s targeted killing of a top Iranian general at the Baghdad airport on Friday.

Hahahahaha!

Remember one of the many justifications for the insane invasion of Iraq, after it was discovered BushCo had LIED about Iraq having *weapons of mass destruction,* was that American wanted to *spread democracy.*

Well, America, here it is!  Democracy in action!

You spent how many trillions of dollars and killed how many millions of people, just to get a slap in the face?

Somehow, I have the feeling TrumpCo will veto Iraqi democracy. . .

Then there's this:

So the General was on a diplomatic mission to EASE TENSION in the area, and TrumpCo blow him to smithereens!  And we are supposed to believe TrumpCo's current plea for *de-escalation?*

BushCo's neocon leftovers have been aching for a war against Iran for over a decade. . .now that they are whispering in the ear of an even bigger idiot than Bush, they may finally get their precious Iran war.

Meanwhile, in Iran:
Look at the size of the funeral crowd!  You don't even get a crowd this size in USA at the parade when some team wins a Super Bowl.

I really don't think these people are gonna be satisfied by a couple molotov cocktails being thrown at some US embassy in Africa.  Some Americans are going to have to die.

Best thing for Iran would be to capture some American servicemen and take them back to Iran and put them on trial. . .and then the inevitable public execution.

Can you imagine Trump's feverish, deranged tweeting as the whole thing played out?  The tough guy threats and the ridiculous boasting about the American military?

And then what?

We don't know yet how this will all end.  We know how it started, about that, let's be clear.  It started when TrumpCo decided to assassinate an Iranian general on a diplomatic mission.  That's how it started.  How it will end, it's much too early to tell. . .

LOL!! The Anointing Of Donald J. Trump

You have to laugh at the sheer preposterousness of this photograph of the anointing of Donald J. Trump!

The beatific expression on Trump's face. . .basking in the adulation of the six false prophets!

After the laughter, however. . .

I suppose Trump could honestly believe God is *on his side.*  Look what he has gotten away with his whole life:  a lifetime of lying, cheating, thieving, which has allowed him to glorify himself and live, as Revelation 18:7 phrases it, *deliciously.*

Yes, I suppose a lifetime of being showered with the good things of the world as a reward for dishonesty could warp one's reasoning.  It must seem completely reasonable to Trump to attribute his phenomenal good fortune to God's favor.

After all, he has suffered no calamity which would cause him to seek relief in the search of scriptures, and doubtless he has never been exposed to the teachings of the Ecclesiast:

There is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness. . .

Nor can there be any reason to believe Trump ever heard Jesus' parable of the rich man and Lazarus, and therefore never had even the slightest stirring of the soul in identifying with the rich man's fate:

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Why would Trump, after a lifetime in the bubble of material favor, have any inkling of the darkness that awaits outside it?

I suppose one could pity his eternal fate, if he were merely a rich man who exploited the poor. . .but now Trump revels in bloodshed, and for that, the sight of his obvious pleasure in the prayers of the false prophets makes one want to vomit.

What can one say about the six false prophets praying over Trump?

The one at the far left seems especially fervent. . .what can he see, eyes cast heavenward?  Strong delusion, I suppose.

Particularly revolting is the woman with her arm touching Trump's garment, in some kind of harlot's imitation of the woman with an issue of blood who wanted to touch Jesus' garment for healing.  This woman, we imagine, touches Trump's garment seeking issue of an orgasm.

They say one picture is worth a thousand words.  This picture of the anointing of Trump by the false prophets is worth exactly fifty-two words:

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

The Assassination Of Qassem Soleimani

WASHINGTON, Jan 2 (Reuters) - A U.S. strike killed Iran Quds Force General Qassem Soleimani, the Pentagon said on Thursday, adding that Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack Americans in Iraq and the Middle East. "At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qassem Soleimani," the Pentagon said in a statement. "This strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans," it said, adding that the United States would continue to take necessary action to protect Americans and interests around the world.

OK. . .so another US blunder in the Middle East.  We've come to expect these over the long long decades, stretching all the way back until at least 1953 when the United States overthrew Iran's democratically elected government.

All these blunders, whether committed by democrat or republican administrations, are said to be done to further American National Interest and/or to Keep America Safe. . .that they always do the exact opposite is something American foreign policy makers remain remarkably incognizant of.

Of course, these blunders have also caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of piss-poor colored people.  These deaths cause absolutely no psychic disturbance to the idiotic American sheeple.  That a few thousand American *servicemen* die does trouble some of the sheeple, some of whom think such deaths, died by dopes volunteering to fuck up colored peoples countries, are *noble* and/or *tragic,* when, in point of fact, they are just, at best, pointless, or, at worst, a tiny payment on a karmic debt.

This latest blunder, the assassination of the Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, is said to have been necessary to deter future Iranian attack plans.

Huh?

Is this logical thinking?

It seems there are two possible outcomes:

A.) Iran is so frightened by the murder of General Soleimani, they drop whatever nefarious operations they had been planning, or

B.) Iran is so outraged by the murder of General Soleimani, they continue whatever nefarious operations they had been planning, and toss in a few extra for revenge.

Readers can decide for themselves which outcome seems more likely. . .

It also must be pointed out that for at least the last twenty years the United States and her albatross Israel have insisted that Iran is *just six months away* from having a nuclear weapon.  Those who believe option B above is the most likely outcome must now hope Usrael's nuke-mongering has all been baseless propaganda.  Let's check back again in six months. . .

In the meantime, one can only wonder: does the assassination of General Soleimani make Iran more or less likely to develop nuclear weapons capability (or accelerate that capability, if already under development)?  Would Iran like to remain defenseless to the mercy of the whims of American bOObs like Trump, or have some deterrent of its own?  Again, readers can decide for themselves which seems more likely. . .

A Trip To The Dope Store

It's legal to buy recreational marijuana now in Michigan. . .hey, Michigan is cool!

I wondered what it's like to buy dope?  I mean, is it just like walking into a 7-Eleven and buying a pack of KOOLs?

No. [sigh.]  No. [sigh.]

No, it's not just like walking into a 7-Eleven and buying a pack of KOOLs.  No.  It's more like driving to the pot store (with the rather cumbersome name Exclusive Ann Arbor Medical & Recreational Marijuana) and then being directed into a huge semi-heated tent attached to the pot store and then standing in a 200 person line for two hours and forty-five minutes and then being admitted, ten at a time, into the pot store inner sanctum where a crew of 5 *budtenders* take your order at the pot counter and charge you $24 a gram (+16% for various taxes).   That's what it's like. . .

I don't smoke dope.  I smoked a little dope in my teens, but it just made me tired.  I should say, it just made me more tired.  I've always been tired, I was born tired, and I've lived my entire life tired, not because I can't sleep, I have no problem sleeping, it's just that when I wake up, I'm still tired because I've always had a tiring sleep, when I was a child I had nightmares, and as an adult I dream I am at work, so. . .I'm always tired, and hence dope doesn't do anything for me except exaggerate my natural tired state.

A friend wanted to buy some dope, so I decided to tag along, just to see what it was like.  Neither the friend nor me had any idea it was going to be a three hour ordeal.

Well, apparently dope stores are a good business with a future of solid growth.@@

It was no aberration, the long line. . .

It's like that everyday. . .all day, every day, according to the *budtender* when asked if there was a less busy time to visit.

You see, it's not just people in my town who go to the dope store.  It's not just people in my state who go to the dope store.  There were people waiting in line who had driven from Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin.  I suppose if you can afford to buy in bulk it's worth the trip?

Well, I must say the loooonnng wait in line (where the back half of the tent where the space heater is located is warm, and the front half of the tent is chilly) was as pleasant as could be expected, the people were quiet and orderly.  No jostling.  Everybody respected a small amount of personal space.  The crowd was probably 90% white, which surprised me, I was expecting a more *Cypress Hill* crowd.  There were all ages, though mostly young.

The store staff and *budtenders* were a mix of hipsters, thug life wannabes and old school stoners.  The store had a small collection of disappointingly dull t-shirts and no obviously apparent *Cheech&Chong-ish* paraphernalia.

All told, it was a long, boring three hours. . .recommended only for those who REALLY REALLY want to buy dope legally.

@@I suppose as robots and AI take more and more jobs, and as more and more people sit around with nothing to do but wait for their universal basic income checks, these are the types of *new industries* that will flourish: vices that were previously illegal.  More and more drugs will be legalized, just as more and more forms of gambling are now being legalized, and just as sex will probably become legalized.
