No Kings Protest

14 June 2025: Large crowds across the country gathered to protest the Trump administration — in major cities like Philadelphia, Atlanta, New York and Chicago, as well as in smaller, rural communities. The “No Kings” rallies, as the demonstrations were known, were planned for the same day as a military parade in Washington, D.C., that President Trump scheduled for the Army’s 250th anniversary, which also coincides with his 79th birthday.

I went to my local *No Kings* protest here in Michigan.  I thought there would be a small crowd.  50, maybe 100 sheeple, tops.  But the crowd was much larger, at least 500 people.  Unfortunately, no pro-King Trumpers showed up, so the whole thing was rather tedious.  They had several speakers, small fry local gadflies, but the sound system was so poor, only about every fourth or fifth word was intelligible:

Trump, something, something, something, something, felon, something, something, something, something, tyranny, something, something, something, something, solidarity. . .

You get the idea.

It was probably better I couldn't understand what they were saying, it would have been even more boring to listen to uninterrupted whining.

But it was good to stand around on a pleasant summer afternoon and see so many other people who also can't stand Trump.  Being an anti-social person, often not speaking to another human being for weeks at a time, I'd forgotten there is still a sizable percentage of the sheeple who rightfully loathe Trump.

Other than that, nothing else to say about it.
